Omega is the last tune you will ever need for your 2019-2022 Ranger. We know that trucks live many different lives, and things can change at a moments notice. So we've designed this tune to handle anything you can throw at it.
You'll notice:
- Vastly improved throttle response (without feeling artificial or "touchy")
- Massive increase in low-end torque and part throttle performance
- Crisp and precise shifts that aren't overly firm or aggressive
- Unbelievable top-end power

- Designed with failsafe features to lower boost and ignition timing if the PCM senses poor fuel quality

- E30 compatible with no additional tuning required
- Drive (normal) Mode: Increased throttle response over stock. Removal of stock “skip shift” function in transmission logic. Slightly raised shift points at part throttle (similar to stock Sport mode), and raised WOT shift points. Shift firmness has been slightly increased similar to what is found in Sport mode of the 2018 Mustang GT.
- Sport Mode: Further increased throttle response. Further raised part throttle and WOT shift points. Earlier closed throttle downshifts when braking. Torque converter lock up scheduling setup for increased engine braking when decelerating aggressively. Shift firmness has been designed to be crisp, quick, and clean. This mode is similar to Drag mode found in the 2018 Mustang GT. It is designed to be aggressive, and to provide the quickest shifts possible for maximum performance at the track or on the street.
- Tow Mode: Shift scheduling and torque converter function will be optimized for each trucks specific gear/tire combo.
REQUIREMENTS

The "Basic" Omega tune will cover most bolt-on modifications.
91/93 octane required. Sorry, you cannot run 87 on this tune.
Flashing this tune requires using the new TDN phone app for MPVI2, MPVI2+, MPVI3, or RTD4 users. (A Windows laptop is still required for KAM resets, speedo calibrations, and extensive datalogging. The app can only be used for flashing tunes and diagnostics).
NOTE: MPVI2, MPVI2+, MPVI3, RTD, RTD+, RTD3, or RTD4 Interface required! Regular MPVI2’s and RTD’s are not compatible with iOS. Only the + (plus) or 3 models are. If you do not have an interface, select ADD RTD4 in the options.
TDN (Tune Delivery Network) is a free-to-download app for iOS and Android and syncs the RTD4 device via Bluetooth, removing the laptop from the equation when licensing and writing tunes to your vehicle. You can use this method or laptop method for reading/writing tunes.
Reading/copying the stock file does not leave the vehicle inoperable. Submitting the read/copy of your stock file will be by either email or the TDN app depending on which you decide to use.

CREDITS
HP TUNERS CREDITS:
2018+ Ford's requires 4 HP Tuners Credits. Options B & C includes these 4 Credits.
Credits are the currency used by HP Tuners to purchase licenses for tuning specific vehicles. A license is tied to three key pieces of information:
- VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
- Serial Number of the controller
- Operating System (OS) on the controller
Once a vehicle is licensed, your HP Tuners interface device can write modified tune files back to that specific vehicle.
POLICIES
TUNING POLICIES:
All tuning services are time-limited and will include 90 days of complementary datalog reviews and/or personalized adjustments to cover adjustments such as firmer/softer shifts, increased/decreased throttle response, etc. Changing or adding modifications to the vehicle that would require a tune adjustment would not be considered a "preference-based adjustment" and would not be covered by a complimentary update.
Should your tuning window expire for any of the above reasons, you will be asked to purchase a re-tune through the website to "reset" your tuning time period, at which point the customer will receive a new 90-day window for complimentary adjustments and datalog reviews.
